Big G little o

The Nine Eagles Solo Pro 328a is a nice flying and stable helicopter. It has very stable hover and good speed. It is big enough to see at some distance. The weak areas include the flybar and the tail motor and tail boom. Also some early releases experienced a lare percentage of failures, which were repaired by Nine Eagles for just a small shipping charge. The flybar provides stable hover but inadequate control for fast circuits.

 

The stock transmitter, which works quite well, has a small lcd display and features dual rates plus subtrim capability. Flying with the Devo 10 and deviation software adds even smoother and more predictable control.

 

A Bell 206 body kit is available but I found the extra weight to be too much for the 3.7v power system, and the body is extremely thin and brittle. I did major modifications which significantly improved handling of my 328a. Keep a good supply of spare Xtreme Flybar rods and weights on hand as they break easily (but are a big part of the enhanced performance).
