Big G little o

The MJX x100 was my first quadcopter. The 6 axis gyro and accelerometers provide very stable hover, flight, and self-levelling. The rotors have a slight delay when powering down which can contribute to unnecessary damage. The quad itself is very sturdy and good quality. The transmitter has an lcd display and basic controls can be changed but I found it to be lacking precision, although not unexpected at this price point. Unfortunately the MJX protocol is proprietary and cannot be adapted to any higher level transmitter.

 

I adapted a Walkera Ladybird QR-V2 receiver into the x100 and, controlled by the Devo 10, was a much nicer and more precise quad to fly. But the QR-V2 receiver I had was very susceptible to the slightest bump, frequently losing bind, and died completely after about 6 hrs flight.

 

The MJX x100 and HJ v997 Mini Pet are the same.
