MY REVIEW:

The MJX-F45 is a large fixed pitch single rotor helicopter. The build quality is solid. It has a spotlight on the nose which aids in orientation. The optional camera is decent quality for the price but not great. It has good power and speed but, like any flybarred heli, handling has its limits. Also, it has the fixed pitch tendancy to move forward on right turn and backward on left turn, which is amplified by the size. Some manufacturers have added firmware to tune this out. Hover stablility is excellent but a large area is required to actually fly.The included Li-Ion battery limits power output. The stock lcd transmitter works fairly well but is limited in precision, quite standard at this price range. MJX protocol is proprietary and you are limited to the stock transmitter. Parts are easily available.

This heli has a large following at rcgroups (see link below). Practical upgrades range from a simple improved Li-Po battery, to a full brushless kit.
