Flyzone Nieuport 17

Videos Below:

The Hobbyzone Nieuport 17 is an slow flying biplane that requires special care not to break it. Mine came with the motor alignment out of adjustment which caused it to instantly nose-up, fall off to the right, and then crash.

My setup on the Walkera Devo 10 transmitter with Deviation software and Anylink Module works but is finicky.

Startup Procedure:

  1. Power up Devo 10 and select Nieuport 17 model

  2. Plug Anylink into ppm-out socket

  3. Plug battery into Anylink

  4. 2 beeps indicate sucessful link-up

  5. Make sure Throtttle Hold (TH) is off

  6. Plug battery into Nieuport 17

  7. Propeller turns slightly to indicate powererd up sucessfully

  8. Move throttle to max and pause - prop spins once

  9. Move throttle to min and pause - prop spins twice

  10. Test all functions and fly
