MY REVIEW:

The Blade 200 srx is a 200 size fixed pitch helicopter with a difference. It employs a lower pitch angle and higher head speed. This provides more wind capability while maintaining stability and ease of flying. When set up properly, and note that many of the needed adjustments are not in the manual, it can fly similar to a flybarred fixed pitch heli. Beginner mode limits servo movement making it very easy to get a feel for the 200 srx, but you will very quickly move up to the Intermediate mode. Letting go of the right stick will quickly put the heli back on hover. On Experienced mode, where rolls and loops are possible, but no self-levelling, the panic mode can save your heli, by forcing it into hover from any orientation.

 

I up set my 200 srx on my Devo 10 running aftermarket Deviation 4.0 software. This allows full control over flight characteristics for the technical minded pilot (although anyone can learn it). Out of the box it lacks power but this is adjustable (see video below). By turning up the gain for motor power and installing a proper aftermarket 13T mototr pinion, it becomes a powerful, flexible and fun heli. Learn to fly in stock form before modding!!
